Spotlight on Dr. Amanda Robinson: New Co-Editor of African Affairs!

Please Join CAS in Congratulating Dr. Amanda Robinson!

Amanda Lea Robinson (Associate Professor of Political Science) has been appointed as the co-editor of African Affairs, the top journal in African studies. Research in African Affairs focuses on the politics and international relations of sub-Saharan Africa. Robinson will serve a four-year term (2024-2028).

Amanda's research focuses on the ways in which identity and culture-defined by nationality, ethnicity, race, and gender influence political behavior, and how political processes affect identity change, primarily in Africa and among the African diaspora.

Dr. Robison is also a co-organizer of the Working Group in African Political Economy (WGAPE).
