Professor Salome Fouts Receives Distinguished Teaching Award

Salome Fouts, senior lecturer and the director of African Languages at the Center for Languages, Literatures, and Cultures, has received the Provost's Award for Distinguished Teaching by a Lecturer. Fouts has taught Swahili language and culture at OSU for over a decade, as well as serving as a resident director for the Global May Uganda program since 2014.
Upon receiving the award, Fouts expressed, "I am very humbled by this award. I want to thank you all for your amazing support, encouragement and guidance through the years."
