EMPOWERING CHANGE: RESEARCH STRATEGIES FOR POLITICS AND DEVELOPMENT IN MALAWI
Twelve Ohio State undergraduates studied abroad in Malawi this summer as part of the Global Education program “Empowering Change: Research Strategies for Politics and Development in Malawi.” The four-week political science course focused on field research methodologies and conducting research in developing countries. Students received lectures from leading Malawian scholars and visited sites related to what they were learning in the classroom. Resident directors, Dr. Amanda Lea Robinson and Dr. Mary Rodriguez, plan to lead the program again in 2026. Learn more here.
